HERE IT IS: THE LIMITED EDITION BELL & ROSS WATCH, NAMED AFTER THE ALPINE F1®️ SINGLE-SEATER A521. Well-known watchmaker Bell & Ross and Alpine F1 Team, formerly known as the Renault F1 Team, have been working together since 2016. It's a pretty picture for sure: The talented drivers on the circuits with the most advanced and sporty Bell & Ross watches.
The Renault F1 Team may have a new name, but the collaboration with Bell & Ross is certainly not a thing of the past! Quite the contrary, together they are now stronger than ever. The brand released no fewer than three limited edition watches to celebrate the collaboration and to welcome Alpine.
The watch we are going to talk about today is the Bell & Ross BR03-94 A521 Alpine F1 Edition. The watch is part of BR03-94, an iconic collection that enthusiasts know all too well. The biggest feature of this series of watches is the square case, which contains a round dial. Something to note is the bezel of this timepiece, which rotates in two directions.
Bell & Ross hits the nail on the head with the sporty look of the watch. There are a number of racing elements included in this watch. Think of the black chronographic drives on the side of the watch. They resemble the paddle switches on the steering wheel in the Alpine F1 car. Furthermore, the watch has a silver-coloured tachymeter to register speed and the Alpine logo at the central chronograph hand. The notches in the small dials resemble spokes on sports rims. Finally, let's not forget the cursive Arabic numerals on the watch.
Even the color of the watch has a special meaning: in the previous editions, yellow kept coming back, but now we see a watch with blue accents. Alpine blue to be exact, a welcome gesture from Bell & Ross to Alpine. The new, fresh color can be found in, for example, the ring and hands of the watch. Another thing that differs from the previous models is that the A521 is a slightly quieter model. Perfect for the collector who doesn't like too much fuss around the wrist.
The caliber of this watch is the BR-CAL.301, a caliber used exclusively by Bell & Ross for chronographic watches. The automatic movement ticks 28,800 times per hour, and has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The watch also has a date display at the 6 o'clock position.
This watch is a limited edition, and only has 500 copies on the market. Got excited?
