The history of Ebel
Ebel was founded in 1911 by the couple Eugène Blum and Alice Blum-Lévy in the Swiss town of La Chaux-de-Fonds. Ebel soon became known for its high-quality timepieces. The grandson of the founders, Pierre-Alain later came to the helm of Ebel. Pierre-Alain had a clear vision for the brand and, among other things, created the watch we now know as the 'Sport Classic'. The Sport Classic is a comfortable and timeless watch.
Ebel is one of the first brands to start with sports marketing. The focus was mainly on tennis, but Ebel was also interested in architecture. The tradition of timeless quality continues in Ebel's current collections. Ebel prefers evolution and further perfecting their watches.
