Description

Geneva, 1992

Frederique Constant, in its current form, was founded in 1988. Aletta Bax and Peter Stas launched their first collection in 1992, consisting of six models equipped with Swiss movements and assembled by a watchmaker in Geneva. Frederique Constant is involved in all stages of watch production, from initial design to final assembly. Watches manufactured under her trademark are either designed by Frederique Constant or contracted by independent designers for a specific range of models. There is a strong emphasis on watch design to keep abreast of trends and customer preferences. Frédérique Constant uses advanced computer software to assist in the design and development of the watch.

Let more people enjoy luxury!

Frederique Constant does not mean to limit her watches to a small and elite circle of connoisseurs. No, the watchmaker is targeting a wider group of enthusiasts who want to enjoy high-quality classic watches at a reasonable price. Frederique Constant has been at the World Watch, Clock and Jewelery Show in Basel since 1995. When the company flourished, Aletta Bax and Peter Stas decided to move to Geneva themselves, to establish the brand in the heart of this watch capital.

Powered by the FC-206 quartz caliber five-jewel movement. The 30 mm steel housing attracts the eye with its ultra-feminine look. The dial itself is beautiful mother-of-pearl, protected by diamond-hard sapphire crystal, and speaking of diamonds, the hour indices include no less than eight hand-applied diamonds (0.02 ct). The delicate hands are hand polished to a rich shine, and the moon phase display is at the 6 o'clock position. Frederique Constant's engineering wizards have also designed the watch so that all functions (hours, minutes, and moon phase) are adjustable via a single crown, and despite their diminutive appearance, each watch in the range is water-resistant to three spheres. In addition to the diamond indices, these two models also feature more than half a carat of sparkling diamonds (0.56 ct) placed around the perimeter of the watch face. Finished with a classic fashionable stainless steel bracelet.
