Caliber 4R39

The Seiko 4R39 caliber is a mechanical caliber with 24-hour indication. The watch charges itself during wear by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the mainspring of the watch to wind. This spring is the source of energy. Hand winding is also possible. When fully charged, the watch has a power reserve of 41 hours. The ticking frequency of this automatic is 21,600 per hour and the watch has 24 jewels. The 4R caliber is manufactured entirely in-house at Seiko.
