Automatic movement

A mechanical watch automatically charges itself during wear by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the mainspring of the watch to wind. This spring is the source of energy.

Caliber 4R57

The 4R57 Seiko caliber with energy reserve indicator is a mechanical caliber. The watch automatically charges itself during wear by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the mainspring of the watch to wind. This spring is the source of energy. Manual winding is also possible. When the watch is fully charged, it has an energy reserve of approx. 41 hours. The energy reserve indicator shows on the dial how much energy the watch still has. The tick rate of this automatic is 21,600 per hour and the watch has 29 jewels. The 4R57 caliber is equipped with 5 hands: time display (hour, minute and second hand), date display and power reserve indicator. The 4R caliber is manufactured entirely in-house.
