"SEIKO PRESAGE STYLE 60'S"

Concept

Seiko Presage launches a new series, "Style60's", with groundbreaking models that combine the specific vintage feel with the high level with which the Presage collection has made a name for itself worldwide. The design of the new Presage Style60's series is inspired by the Seiko Crown Chronograph, Seiko's and Japan's first wristwatch with stopwatch function introduced in 1964. The characteristic earth tones of these beautiful watches refer to the vintage design of the 1964 creation, while contemporary elements also give the series a very original character.

Style

The new series features the Crown Chronograph's signature "box shaped" glass, faceted indices and sharply shaped hands. The characteristic soft shapes of the Style60's watches provide a vintage 1960s look. Different finishing techniques have been applied to the inside of the dial and the outer part with the indexes. As a result, the watches offer better readability. And depending on the viewing angle, the wearer experiences the different faces of the vintage design.

Closet Design

The gently rounded case is slightly tilted inwards to ensure a comfortable wearing experience.
The clean cut lugs are very carefully polished to a mirror like condition. This creates a perfect balance between contemporary and vintage.

While the original Crown Chronograph did not have a date window, the new series offers watches with a date display.

Lumibrite

The new series offers watches with dials in different colors: black, brown, ivory and earth tones colors of blue and green reminiscent of the trends of the 1960s.

Automatic movement

A mechanical watch automatically charges itself during wear by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the mainspring of the watch to wind. This spring is the source of energy.
