20 years after its founding, MeisterSinger presents us with the Bell Hora; the model with the most unconventional, contemporary take on mechanical horology to date. Time to celebrate the German brand's anniversary; time for some attention to this wonderful novelty.
SONNERIE AU PASSAGE
An almost forgotten tradition has been revived in the new watch; the tradition of the sonnerie au passage. A pleasant bell sounds from the watch exactly at each hour to alert the wearer to the passage of time. This function is made possible by a sophisticated mechanism that triggers the sound fork behind the dial exactly when a new hour arrives. And even though this announcement sounds very friendly to the ears, the bell signal can be easily turned off by means of a push button at the 2 o'clock position.
RED DOT AWARD
The design of the Bell Hora is completely in line with the signature MeisterSinger style. Take the needle-shaped hand, double digits and index structure. The watch has a polished steel 43 mm case and is available with both a natural ivory and sunburst blue dial, both featuring sophisticated embossing with spiral geometry. Enough to once again win a prestigious Red Dot Award with it, something that was announced just hours before the press release launched.
