Automatic movement

A mechanical watch automatically charges itself when worn by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the mainspring of the watch to be wound. This spring is the energy source.

Kaliber 6R27

The 6R27 Seiko caliber with power reserve indicator is a mechanical caliber. The watch automatically charges itself when worn by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the mainspring of the watch to be wound. This spring is the energy source. Hand winding is also possible. When the watch is fully charged, it has an energy reserve of approximately 45 hours. The energy reserve indicator on the dial shows how much energy the watch has left. The tick number of this automatic is 28,800 per hour and the watch has 29 jewels. The 6R27 caliber features 5 hands: time display (hour, minute and second hands), date display and power reserve indicator.
