Description
These seven new Seiko 5 Sports creations are inspired by two hugely popular Japanese animations, NARUTO and BORUTO. Each model features an important character from one of the animations: Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Lee and Gaara from NARUTO and Boruto and Sarada from BORUTO.
NARUTO first aired in Japan in 2002, and has since built up a huge fan base around the world. BORUTO is the sequel to the series with Naruto's son - Boruto Uzumaki - as the central figure and is still being continued today.

GAARA
This model characterizes Gaara's qualities and the One-Tailed sealed within him.
CASE AND DIAL
Sand was the source of inspiration for the brown case and the pressed pattern of the dial.
INDEX
The Kanji character for 'love' at the one o'clock position brings to life Gaara and the 'One-Tailed' sealed within him.
BACK COVER
The caseback features a pattern inspired by his gourd's mark, and serial numbers from 0001/6500 to 6500/6500 to indicate limited edition.
Caliber 4R36
The 4R36 Seiko caliber with day/date display is a mechanical caliber. The watch automatically charges itself when worn by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the mainspring of the watch to be wound. This spring is the energy source. Hand winding is also possible. When the watch is fully charged, it has an energy reserve of approximately 41 hours. The tick number of this automatic is 21,600 per hour and the watch has 24 jewels. The 4R caliber is manufactured entirely in-house.
