HOW DOES THE PENDANT GET TO THE NECKLACE?

1.5 kilos of precious metal, three experienced goldsmiths and a whole day's work yields 3000 meters of gold or platinum wire for the Niessing necklace. Sound like a simple math equation? Well, it's not!

The goldsmiths of Niessing have mastered the ancient handiwork down to the last detail: time and again they pull gold and platinum wire through the drawing stones and repeatedly glow the wire, at exactly the right moment. For the perfect shape of the Niessing necklace it is extremely important that the wire has a circular profile.

THIS SHINE FROM THE INSIDE...

Once the threads are ready, they are wrapped with the utmost care and precision around a transparent nylon core: this enhances the shine of the necklaces from the inside. Finally, every Niessing necklace is fitted with a hand-polished clasp that closes very simply and securely.
