Nanis is a story of passion, special individuals and beauty. The story of a dream: breathing new life into the jewel, rewriting it from an aesthetic point of view and from raw emotion. It's no coincidence that one of the very first pieces of jewelry designed by Laura was the iconic "Trasformista", the bracelet that changes shape completely with a touch, almost as if by magic. It was a creation that was the result of instinct and creativity, but it was also a kind of manifesto. In 1995 the time had already come for Laura and Nanis to adapt the jewel to the woman, and no longer the other way around.

Precious creations and precious memories…

As precious as the eyes and smile of a little girl, who stared at Piero and Laura during a trip to Haiti in the summer of 1986 and then took them by the hand all day long. Her name was "Nanishka" and she lived alone in a sugar cane field. Her strength and smile conquered them. To Nanishka, and to her light, Nanìs owes her name.

In fact, the organicity and balanced "roundness" of nature are perfectly reflected in women, the most sensual and fascinating creatures. It is therefore not surprising that nature and women are among Laura's greatest sources of inspiration. The designer has dedicated to these muses the most iconic of all Nanis forms: the boules, or as Laura likes to call them "unusual golden pearls", which have defined many of her collections over the years and are constantly reinterpreted. . Their harmony, sweetness and smoothness are reflected in every Nanis creation, made even more striking by Nanis' signature hand engraving.
