The Unomat received a renowned Red Dot Design Award

If you are looking for a watch that is ideal for everyday use and all the changing situations in life, the new Unomat will be your most faithful companion: Anti-magnetic, 300 meters water resistant, extra strong screw-down steel back, screw-down crown and crown guard.

A MeisterSinger has never been so robust. The striking 43mm stainless steel case features robust sides that protect the screw-down crown from knocks and shocks. The extra strong screwed steel back does the rest.

Water resistant to 30 bar, the Unomat is a great companion when swimming, as in both equipment and appearance it resembles a robust scientific device for use in severe weather, in the lab, or in the water.

With its much larger diameter, the new SW400 has enough space for a 30% larger date window which underlines the instrument's character, especially through the renewed line index structure and the perfectly proportioned double-digit digits. The Swiss automatic movement is enclosed by layers of soft iron: A sleeve in the case is complemented by the soft iron dial, which is further made of brass. This thoughtful design makes the timepiece impervious to radiation from mobile phones, electrical appliances, magnetic closures and laboratory equipment. On the Unomat, the distinctive needle-shaped pointer is much wider than usual and luminous enough to be readable even at dusk.

The history of MeisterSinger

The special brand MeisterSinger was founded in 2001 and is known for its elegant and functional watches with only one hand.

Founder Manfres Brassler wanted to create a classic quality watch that gives the impression that all contemporary hectic and busyness has come to a halt.

The unique shape and style of these MeisterSinger watches appeals to the imagination of many watch lovers. A good reason to dive deeper into the history of MeisterSinger.

In the Middle Ages, many clocks had only one hand. As a result, the time cannot be read to the second, and this creates the feeling that time is slowing down. Based on this principle, Brassler developed the first model in the collection, the MeisterSinger N°01. Despite the fact that there is only one hand, the time is still easy to read. The layout of the dial makes the watch unique.

How does a MeisterSinger work?

The space between the hour indices are divided into five-minute chunks.

The quarter-hour indices are longer than the five-minute indices. Because the pointer is sharpened in a sharp point, it is possible to read the time accurately to within five minutes.
