Peter Stas, co-founder of the Group has always been intrigued by how it was possible to add smart functions to simple quartz watches. Seeing an opportunity to develop exciting connected watches with rich information and graphics on smartphones since 2010, he eventually launched the first Frederique Constant Horological smartwatch in 2015, becoming one of the best-selling watches within the collection. Since innovation is one of the Group's core values, it was only natural that a significant part of the R&D budget has been invested in connected watch technology since then.

These two new Horological Smartwatch additions are made for men who want more than just being able to check the time on their wrist with a quartz watch. It is aimed at customers who are looking for exciting user experience like dynamic coaching, sleep control, Worldtimer function, activity tracking, get-active alerts, always-on time & date function which gives a lot of information to help improve themselves through functions that can be individually adjusted.

The design is also the primary strength of Frederique Constant Horological Smartwatch. These new models have a 42mm stainless steel case and convex sapphire crystal powered by the MMT-285 slim caliber with all functions adjustable through the crown with a 2+ year battery life.

The light gray or light blue dials are finished with delicate Sunray decorations and applied silver indexes with a white luminescent treatment. The hands are hand polished with white luminescent treatment giving the watch the appearance of a traditional luxury analog Swiss watch.

The watch features hours, minutes, date in the counter placed at 6 o'clock, as well as an additional indicator that shows you the percentage of the target achieved according to what the customer has set on the dedicated Frederique Constant Smartwatch app available for both iOS and Android.
