The story of Bell & Ross

In the early 1990s, the current director and co-founder, Bruno Belamich, did an internship at the German watchmaker, Helmut Sinn. This internship inspired Bruno's interest in wristwatches. In 1992, Belamich decided to set up his own brand in Paris with his friend Carlos Rosillo. The name Bell & Ross refers to the surnames of the founders.

Belamich and Rosillo wanted to manufacture watches that meet four criteria: legibility, functionality, durability and utmost precision. These watches had to fill a gap in the market for people who deal with extreme situations on a daily basis. Especially in professions where high pressure conditions, extreme temperatures and a reliable watch is not only necessary as a tool, but is essential as a means of survival.

The company's first employees came from the aviation industry. The square design of this brand not only gives stability to the cabinet, but is also reminiscent of the on-board instruments from airplanes. The stylish design of a Bell & Ross watch clearly stands out. The watches are currently manufactured in the Bell & Ross factory in the Swiss La Chaux-de-fonds.

Military know-how in a new pilot's watch. This watch proves that the French Bell & Ross is able to create indestructible watches and at the same time be part of the great Swiss watchmaking culture. The BR 03-92 MA-1 is a streamlined version of the pilot's watch with which the brand has been making a name for years. The look pays tribute to the legendary MA-1 flight and the bomber jackets worn by the US Air Force from 1958. Take the orange-khaki color combination, where the dark green refers to camouflage and the orange to aviation. And just like the other watches from Bell & Ross, this limited edition also performs in the most extreme conditions!
