The Bell & Ross story

In the early 1990s, the current director and co-founder, Bruno Belamich, was an apprentice at the German watchmaker, Helmut Sinn. This internship inspired Bruno's interest in wristwatches. In 1992, Belamich decided to set up his own brand in Paris together with his friend, Carlos Rosillo. The name Bell & Ross refers to the surnames of the founders.

Belamich and Rosillo wanted to make watches that meet four criteria: legibility, functionality, durability and extreme precision. These watches had to fill a gap in the market for people who deal with extreme situations on a daily basis. Especially in professions where high pressure conditions, extreme temperatures and a reliable watch is not only necessary as a tool, but essential as a means of survival.

The company's first employees came from the aviation industry. The square design of this brand not only gives stability to the cabinet, but is also reminiscent of the on-board instruments from airplanes. The stylish design of a Bell & Ross watch stands out clearly. The watches are contemporary manufactured in the Bell & Ross factory in the Swiss La Chaux-de-fonds.
