The Oris Aquis Date Relief (01 733 7730 4153-07 8 24 05PEB) is a premium diver's watch inspired by Oris' quest to raise awareness of the importance of water. The color of the dial reflects the color of the stormy seas and it features a new bezel design with an embossed minute scale.
Oris and expedition swimmer Ernst Bromeis team up to promote the importance of water with the introduction of the Oris Aquis Date Relief, a premium diver's watch.
Oris is proud to support expedition swimmer and water ambassador Ernst Bromeis, who will wear the watch for his 'The Blue Miracle' campaign in Lake Baikal.
Oris' headquarters is located in Hölstein, Switzerland. The brand dates back to 1903, but it takes more than a year before the brand takes off.
Oris makes its watches entirely in-house. At its peak, just before the start of the Second World War, Oris employed more than a thousand people who were picked up and brought home by their own bus services.
In 1970, the brand launches its first chronograph, the Chronoris. Oris, like many watchmakers, was hit hard by the quartz crisis of the late 1970s and was taken over by management and presented the now acclaimed Big Crown model in 1982. A balanced collection, use of good timepieces and exemplary quality control make the modern Oris popular.
