For proper healing and years of pleasure from your ear holes, it is important to take aftercare very seriously. Taking regular and proper care of the holes after shooting will prevent infections and other problems. We recommend taking care of your ear holes by applying the care tips below:

  • Only touch the shooting earring and ear with clean, disinfected hands.

  • Clean the earlobe at least twice a day on the front and back. To do this, apply Studex Antisept to the new hole without removing the earring from the ear. Then carefully rotate the shooting earrings 180 degrees (a half turn) left and right 2 to 3 times. While turning the ejector stud, make sure that no long hairs wrap around the fastener.

  • Wear the ejector earrings for at least 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, you may replace them with other earrings. We recommend waiting 12 months before wearing large, heavy earrings.

  • Avoid contact with hairspray, shampoo and other irritants for at least 6 weeks after shooting holes.
