The Limited Edition of the Seiko SPB253J1 Black Series is a true diving companion. Night diving is a great way to experience the underwater world completely different than during the day. Many divers are fascinated by the mysterious atmosphere of the ocean that the nights bring.

Night diving is therefore a popular leisure activity all over the world. In addition to the SPB253J1 Black Series, Seiko Prospex brings three other new special Black Series diving watches, the SPB255J1, SPB257J1 and the SLA061J1. All four watches are specially designed for night diving.

The dial of the Seiko SPB253J1 Black Series reminds you of the darkness and stillness of the ocean at night. The orange accents subtly refer to the lights that remove the darkness underwater. The hour markers and hands are finished with lumibright to ensure the best possible visibility even in the darkest places underwater.

The Prospex series contains many recognizable and often iconic designs. Seiko is increasingly embracing its historical heritage. The new Seiko Black Series ( SPB253J1, SPB255J1, SPB257J1 and SLA061J1) are derived from several classic Seiko diving watches from the 1960s and 1970s.

Seichu Watch Strap

The Seiko Black Series is offered with an ultra strong fabric strap incorporating the traditional Japanese crochet technique, Seichu. The strength and resistance of the Seiko strap meets the highest standards and offers resistance to the effects of sunlight and sea water. The included extra black silicone strap is also very useful to wear in different conditions.

Caliber 6R35

Caliber 6R35 with date display is a mechanical caliber made in Seiko's own factories. The watch is therefore automatically charged during wear by converting the movements of the wearer's arms and wrists into energy. Movement of the springs causes the watch to be wound. Manual winding of the movement is also possible. When the watch is fully charged, the watch's power reserve will exceed 70 hours.
