"SEIKO PRESAGE STYLE 60'S"

Concept

Seiko Presage is launching a new series, "Style60's," with groundbreaking models that combine the specific vintage feel with the high level with which the Presage collection has made a name for itself worldwide.
The design of the new Presage Style60's series is inspired by the Seiko Crown Chronograph, Seiko's and Japan's first wristwatch with stopwatch function introduced in 1964. The distinctive earth tones of these beautiful watches allude to the vintage design of the 1964 creation, while contemporary elements also give the series a very original character.

Style

The new series features the Crown Chronograph's signature "box shaped" glass, faceted indexes and sharply shaped hands. The distinctive soft shapes of Style60's watches create a vintage 1960s look. Different finishing techniques have been used on the inside of the dial and the outer part with the indexes. As a result, the watches offer better legibility. And depending on the viewing angle, the wearer experiences the different faces of the vintage design.

Case Design

The gently rounded case is slightly tilted inward to ensure a comfortable wear feeling.
The clean-cut "lugs" are very carefully polished in a mirror-like condition. This creates a perfect balance between contemporary and vintage.

Although the original Crown Chronograph did not have a date window, the new series offers watches with a date display.

Lumibrite

The new series offers watches with dials in different colors: black, brown, ivory and earth tone colors of blue and green reminiscent of 1960s trends.

Automatic movement

A mechanical watch automatically recharges itself while being worn by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the watch's main spring to be wound up. This spring is the energy source.

Caliber 4R35

The 4R35 Seiko caliber with date display is a mechanical caliber. The watch automatically recharges itself while being worn by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the watch's main spring to be wound up. This spring is the energy source. Hand winding is also possible. When fully charged, the watch has a power reserve of about 41 hours. The tick rate of this automatic is 21,600 per hour and the watch has 23 jewels. The 4R caliber is manufactured entirely in-house.
