Sustainable Tuesday: Our Sustainability Mission at Brunott Juwelier

Brunott Juwelier is about more than just beautiful jewelry and watches. With almost 125 years of history anchored in Rotterdam, we have always strived for service, quality and craftsmanship. Now we are adding a new dimension: sustainability.

Don't get us wrong; we are a small company and realize that we will not create a global revolution. But that doesn't mean we ignore our responsibility for our planet. That's why we embrace sustainable practices in our business. We are proud to offer brands such as Oris , Ebel , Seiko and R&C Diamonds , which value sustainability.

On Sustainable Tuesday we want to share our commitment to sustainability. We want to be transparent about our efforts, however modest, and create awareness. From reducing packaging waste to supporting charities and encouraging conscious purchasing; this is our way of contributing to a more sustainable future.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is no longer an optional aspect of our company, but a powerful pillar of our policy. During the busiest period of the year, we donated 5% of our turnover to local charities last year. In this way we take concrete steps to have a positive impact on the world around us. To promote awareness about sustainability, we applied a different return policy during Black Friday Week. For purchases made between November 21 and 25, we charge €15 return costs. We donated this amount directly to WeForest, an organization that plants trees to offset CO2 emissions and make our planet greener.

Let a piece of jewelry or watch last a lifetime

Brunott's regular customers are probably already familiar with Brunott's repair and maintenance service . This service is not only for Brunott products, but for every brand of jewelry and also for every watch. In this way, Brunott does not focus on more sales, but on one sale that will last a lifetime. Perhaps the observant visitor has already seen it, but recently the first products have a 'sustainability' tab on the product information page. Brunott offers brands such as Oris , Ebel , Seiko and R&C Diamonds that attach great importance to sustainability. How about watches made from ocean waste!
